People’s Emergency Briefing screening: 4th June

Where: BFI Southbank – further details shared on registration confirmation

When: 4pm Thursday 4th June 2026

Join us for a local screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing – an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence on climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

It presents a clear overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain – and what the evidence says about risks and responses. Its purpose is to support informed democratic discussion and ensure that Parliament and the public share a common understanding of the scale and urgency of the challenge.

Seats are free but limited so please register through the form below and we will confirm your attendance. If after confirmation you are unable to attend, we’d be very grateful if you could let us know so that we can re-allocate your ticket to someone else.

Following the 45-minute screening we invite you to join us for further conversations and examples of action underway at Lambeth Climate Partnership’s Quick Fire Talks: Adapting to a Changing Climate. This will be immediately afterwards at the BFI and you can sign up separately here. Sustains Us will be presenting on our recent activities to reimagine our riverfront, shaping a shared community vision for its future and reducing flood risk.
