The Young Vic – Rethinking sustainability in the theatre through sharing and creative conversations
The Young Vic theatre in Waterloo has adopted a multilayered approach to sustainability, addressing its environmental impact and integrating climate awareness into its creative work. Amongst others, the venue is implementing green strategies like reusing props and sharing materials with other organisations. Their participation in the ‘Creative Green’ program has led to actions such as installing LED lighting, practising a zero waste to landfill policy, and creating a new green roof garden.
