Morley College – Putting sustainability at the heart of a college curriculum, campus and community
Morley College is one of the UK’s oldest adult education providers committed to supporting South Bank and Waterloo in becoming a fairer and more resilient neighbourhood by 2030. Key initiatives include appointing a ‘Lead Governor for Sustainability’ to integrate environmental principles into the curriculum and launching a new ‘Green Hub’.
A new toolkit for teachers now offers practical activities to equip students with essential sustainability skills while the college makes practical changes to their operations, such as optimising building energy use, recycling materials, and promoting alternative transport.
